Wreath Ornaments

This cute wreath ornament make for a great classroom craft. If you are looking for something your children can do when they are home for the Christmas Holiday break, this craft is perfect. It will keep them busy and you will have cute wreaths to hang on your tree.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Colored Craft Rope
Aleene’s Tacky Glue (or other craft glue)
A Ring (like a jar lid, a shower curtain ring, etc)
A Good Pair of Scissors (or a sharp craft knife)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Take the colored craft rope and cut into strips that are about six (6) inches long.

2. Make a loop out of your craft rope strip and then wrap it around your ring. Pull the loose end through the loop while wrapping around the ring. Pull it tight.

3. Continue until you have covered the ring completely with colored craft rope strips.

4. Once you’ve completely covered the ring, you can use craft glue and glue on sequence pieces or felt shapes (like Holly).

5. You can tie a ribbon around the ring to make the loop for hanging on the tree.
