Wiggle Eyes
Cream, White, Brown, Pink, Orange (other colors if needed) Craft Foam
Yellow Yarn (optional)
Cotton Balls (optional)
Black Pen

DIRECTIONS: (Use your best judgment for the sizes of the shapes compared to the size spoon you use)

OX
1. Paint the spoon brown and leave to dry (overnight is best).

2. Cut two horns and an oval from the cream foam for the nose. Glue these to the center of the spoon (this is the face).

3.Cut two “teardrop” shaped pieces for the ears from the brown craft foam. Glue them in place on the outside of the horns. Glue the ears to the back sides of the spoon (it may be easier to cut your ear shape out with a little extra craft foam at the bottom to use for gluing it onto your spoon).  The ears should show from the sides when holding the spoon up and looking at the front.

4. Finally, add two eyes and draw on nostrils, a mouth and add your special touches if you want (eye lashes, details to the ears, etc.).

PIG
1. Paint your spoon Pink and set aside to dry (overnight is best).

2. Cut out two ears and an oval (for the snout) out of pink craft foam. Glue the ears to the back sides of the spoon (it may be easier to cut your ear shape out with a little extra craft foam at the bottom to use for gluing it onto your spoon).  The ears should show from the sides when holding the spoon up and looking at the front.

3. Glue the oval (or circle) to the front of the spoon.  Leave room for the eyes.

4. Glue two wiggle eyes above the oval.

5. Cut two black circles from the craft foam. Glue these onto the snout to make the nostrils.

6. Finally, draw on a mouth and add your special touches if you want (eye lashes, details to the ears, etc.)

COW
1. Paint your spoon white and set aside to dry (overnight is best).

2. Cut out two ears out of black craft foam and an oval from the white foam (for the snout) .

5. Using your black pen, you can color random spots on the spoon handle.

6. Finally, draw on a mouth and add your special touches if you want (eye lashes, details to the ears, etc.)

BABY CHICK
1. Paint your spoon yellow and set aside to dry (overnight is best).

2. This step is optional; If you are using yarn, skip to the next step. Take your cotton dip it in the yellow paint. Set aside to dry (overnight works best)

3. Cut out one (or two if you want the beak open) triangles from the orange craft foam. Glue them to the center of the spoon.

4. Glue two wiggle eyes above the beak.

5. Using your yarn, cut 3 to 4 – 1/2 inch pieces of yarn. Using a comb (or your fingers) comb the yarn to make it frayed. Glue the frayed yarn to the back of the spoon, leaving some sticking up from the top to give the chick a fluffy head.

OR

5. Using your cotton ball, pull the cotton ball apart. Glue small pieces of fuzz to the top of the spoon. This is the chicks fluffy head.

VARIATIONS:
* Be creative and using the steps above, make a horse, cat, dog, rabbit, duck, sheep, etc.

* Make two of each animal (adding a few others) and make a Noah’s Ark.

* To display them, you can use a vase, a box (just poke a hole in the box for each spoon), or anything you have lying around that will hold the spoons.
