Snow Shovel Candy Favors

This craft makes a great party favor for any winter party. Kid’s will love these and then they have a toy shovel for digging in the sand all summer!SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Red or White Toy Sand Shovel
Paint Pen or Permanent Marker
Small bag of candy (make your own by putting small wrapped candy in plastic wrap or non-ziplock baggie and closing it with a twist tie)
Red, White or Pink Ribbon

DIRECTIONS:
1. Fill and close a small bag of candy with a twist tie.

2. Tie the bag of candy to the handle of a toy sand shovel. (there is a good selection of shovels at www.iparty.com for 40 cents apiece or most Dollar Trees, Wal-Mart, etc.)

3. Use a paint pen or permanent marker and write a message at the base of the shovel, just below the candy bag.

* To display them, put a table against the wall and lean the shovels against the wall so the candy and message are facing out.
