Easy Pom Pom Bunny

These easy Pom Pom Bunnies are great in any basket, on any Spring present or for your Sunday School class. Kid’s will love making them or receiving them.SUPPLIES NEEDED:
1 – 2 inch white pompom
1- 1/1/2 inch white pompom
3- 1 inch white pompoms
2- 1/2 inch white pompoms
1- 1/2 inch pink pompom
2- teeny pink pompoms
2- teeny white pompoms
1- white chenille stem
1- pink chenille stem
Ribbon scrap
Aleene’s Tacky glue (hot glue for big kids)

DIRECTIONS:
1. Glue together the extra large and large white pompom.

2. Trim away one side to create a flatter tummy and face for the bunny.

3. Glue together two small white pompoms and one small pink pompom for the bunny’s nose.

4. Add two teeny white pompoms for teeth by gluing the pompoms at the bottom of the joined white pompoms.

5. Glue the nose and teeth piece to the bunny’s face.

6. Glue two medium white pompoms to the bottom of the extra large pompom for bunny feet.

7. Glue another medium pompom to the back for a bunny tail.

8. With a scrap piece of ribbon, make a bow and glue to the bunny’s neck.

9. Glue two teeny pink pompoms for eyes.

10. For the bunny ears, cut a pink chenille stem about two inches long (this size may vary depending on the size of pompoms you choose).

11. Fold the stem in half.

12. Wrap a piece of white chenille stem around the outside perimeter of the pink stem.

13. Secure the two pieces of chenille by twisting all four ends of the stems together.

14. Glue where the chenille stems are twisted to hold them together.

15. Glue, your finished ears, in place on the bunny’s head.

* Your ears can be twisted and shaped as you like.
* You can glue a magnet piece to the back, making a cute little fridge magnet.
* Glue a jewelry pin to make an Easter pin.
* Glue a push pin to the back for a cute little bulletin board tac.
* You can make them small enough, to  insert them into plastic two-part Easter Eggs.
* They go great in Easter Baskets.
