Decorative Gift Candles
Things You’ll Need:
Baby Food Jar
Aileen’s Tacky Glue
Ribbon
Colored Tulle
Votive Candle
Step 1
To begin your Decorative Gift Candles, gather your supplies. You will need a Gerber baby food jar (or any brand will do), any color Tulle (you could use white and a colored candle or colored Tulle with a white or cream colored candle), Aileen’s Tacky Glue, ribbon , and a votive candle (scented candles are really nice).
Glue The Jar Rim
Make sure your baby food jars are clean on the inside and outside. Be sure the label and glue are removed as completely as possible.
Step 3
Cut a piece of Tulle slightly larger than the baby food jar. Use a Q-tip swab to paint Aileen’s Tacky Glue around the jar rim. You will need to add glue as you gather the Tulle around your baby food jar.
Secure The Tulle With Ribbon
Cut a piece of ribbon and tie it around the rim of the jar. Make sure the ribbon is long enough to tie around the jar and have enough to curl the ends. Tie the ribbon while the glue is still wet (adding more glue if necessary).
TIPS and WARNINGS:
